Kiu Tsui, Sharp Island, Sai Kung

Closest in of all the Sai Kung islands, Sharp Islalnd - as its name suggests - runs north to south with two narrow points. Two kilometres long and half a kilometre wide, it rises to a 136 metre summit. Only two kilometres from Sai Kung town, this is the recreational focus of the nearby islands. There is a cobble beach at Kiu Tsui; and, at the opposite end of the island, Hap Mun has a crescent bay with a sandy beach. On weekends both places attract holiday makers, but during the weeks the island is little visited.
