Tai Lam Chung Reservoir, Tuen Mun 屯門大欖涌水塘

The Tai Lam Chung Reservoir, located in the Tai Lam Country Park, is the first reservoir built in Hong Kong after the Second World War. Construction work commenced in 1952 and was completed in 1957. The reservoir, with a storage capacity of 20 million cubic metres, was formed by a main dam across the Tai Lam Chung Valley, with three subsidiary dams across adjacent small valley.大欖涌水塘位於大欖郊野公園內,是香港在二次世界大戰後第一個興建的水塘。水塘工程於1952年開始,並於1957年完竣,水塘儲水量為二千萬立方米。水塘經由一條橫跨大欖涌谷的主壩,以及三條跨越鄰近較小河谷的副壩所組成。
