Miu Fat Buddhist Monastery, Tuen Mun 屯門妙法寺

Miu Fat Buddhist Monastery in Hong Kong’s New Territories (Castle Peak) was completed in 1980. It’s widely believed to be one of the finest Buddhist temples in South East Asia. It is built in traditional Chinese style. The Temple which cost HK$60 million to complete is also called the “Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas“ as it contains over 10,000 sculptures and paintings of Buddha.位於香港新界(青山)的妙法寺於1980年建成。它被普遍認為是東南亞其中一所最好的佛教寺廟。妙法寺是傳統的中式寺廟,耗資六千萬港幣。寺廟內有超過一萬個佛像的雕塑和繪畫,所以也被稱為「萬佛寶殿」。
