Tai O, Lantau Island 大嶼山大澳

位於大嶼山的大澳古老漁村,用傳統方法醃製和曬乾魚類。鹹魚在香港和中國很受歡迎,在內地通常買不到鹹魚,這種保存方法使魚類可以運送到內地。In the old fishing village of Tai O on Lantau Island fish are salted and laid out to dry by traditional methods. Salted fish are very popular in Hong Kong as well as in China where this preservation method made it possible to transport fish inland where they would not normally be available.
