大嶼山最大的淡水水塘，是位於大嶼山西南端的石壁。水是從這裡輸送到香港島和九龍半島的市區，補充從中國購買的水，以及收集本港其他水塘的水。Lantau Island’s largest fresh water reservoir is at Shek Pik at the south-west end of Hong Kong’s “Big Island“. Water from here is piped to the urban areas of Victoria Island and the Kowloon Peninsula and supplements the water purchased from China and collected in other reservoirs around the territory.
