位於荷李活道的文武廟，是香港最古老的寺廟。按照字面，「文」代表文事，「武」代表武功，文事以文昌帝君為模範，武功以關聖帝君為典型。他們被認為具有保佑人類幸福的權限。廟內有兩座在1862年和1885年製造的鑾輿，每逄神誕均用以盛載文武二帝神像巡街賀誕用，並向公眾展出。The Man Mo Temple in Hollywood Road, is the oldest shrine in Hong Kong. Literally, “Man“ means “civil“ and “Mo“ is “martial“, thus the temple is dedicated to the two gods - King Emperor Man and Holy King Emperor Kwan Mo who, between them, are believed to possess the purview of protecting the well-being of man. Statues of the gods are carried during special celebrations in two sedan chairs which were made in 1862 and 1885 and are on view to the public.
