The North Point Estate was built by the Hong Kong Housing Authority on Java Road. The Estate occupies 6½ acres and is the biggest public housing scheme in the Colony's history. It consists of seventeen 11-storey blocks comprising 1,955 low-cost units to house up to 15,000 people.香港房屋委員會在渣華道興建的北角邨。北角邨佔地6½公頃，是本港最大型的公共屋邨，由17幢十一層高的大廈組成，提供1,955個廉租單位，可容住客15,000人。
