Chatham Road, Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀漆咸道

漆咸道是一條由尖沙咀伸展至土瓜灣的道路。漆咸道最初興建的一段道路,是由梳士巴利道至加連威老道的一段,建築的時候是1888年,是第十任港督德輔爵士任職期內。因此當時將這條道路命名為德輔道。1909年,德輔道易名為漆咸道,以紀念工務司漆咸。Chatham Road is a road spanning from Tsim Sha Tsui to To Kwa Wan. The first section of the road (running from Salisbury Road to Granville Road) was completed in 1888, and was named Des Voeux Road after Sir George William Des Voeux, the 10th Governor of Hong Kong. The road was renamed “Chatham Road“ in 1909 after William Chatham, Director of Public Works of Hong Kong Government.
