為了慶祝天后誕這個盛典，各種裝飾著顏色鮮艷的三角旗的船隻正駛往大廟灣。天后是海神，也是漁民的守護神。香港有多座天后廟，其中以位於大廟灣的天后廟最重要。天后誕於農曆三月舉行。All types of craft decorated with colourful pennants head for Joss House Bay on the occasion of the Tin Hau Festival. Tin Hau is Goddess of the Sea and the patron saint of fishermen. While there are temples erected all over Hong Kong in her honour, the most important of these temples is located at Joss House Bay. The Tin Hau Festival takes place in March of the lunar calendar.
