Man Mo Temple, Sheung Wan 上環文武廟

位於香港荷李活道的文武廟,是香港最古老的寺廟。按照字面,「文」代表文事,「武」代表武功,文事以文昌帝君為模範,武功以關聖帝君為典型。他們被認為具有保佑人類幸福的權限。The Man Mo Temple in Hollywood Road, Hong Kong, is the oldest shrine in the Colony. Literally, “Man“ means “civil“ and “Mo“ is “martial“, thus the temple is dedicated to the two gods - King Emperor Man and Holy King Emperor Kwan Mo who, between them, are believed to possess the purview of protecting the well-being of man.
