Situated inside the Plover Cove Country Park just north of the Plover Cove Reservoir, the Bride’s Pool acquires its name from a legend. It was said that a bride riding on a sedan chair from Wu Kau Tang Village to Luk Keng Village was caught in a torrential rain at this spot where she was washed down and drowned. Bride’s Pool has a magnificient and beautiful waterfall and is an ideal location for picnicking and camping.新娘潭位於船灣淡水湖北端，在船灣郊野公園內，相傳百多年前，一位新娘由烏蛟騰村乘花轎前往鹿頸村，途經該處，恰遇傾盆大雨，被洪水沖入潭中溺斃，故得名。該潭有一條美麗而壯觀的瀑布，四周風景如畫，最宜郊遊及露營。
