1958年，馬鞍山礦坡280米處的礦坑入口因山泥傾瀉而堵塞，公司遂於294米處開鑿新入口，仍舊以「280出入口」命名 。New entrance driven in 1958 at 294-metre level of Ma On Shan iron mine to replace the 280-level entrance which is blocked by landslide. This new entrance still bears the name of 280-metre level entrance.
