Why are the rich getting richer, and the poor getting poorer in Hong Kong? What should government or even community to do for solving the poverty problem? This program would talk about the issue of widening wealth gap in Hong Kong with Ms. Christine Fang who is a Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. Miss Fang points out that even through our GDP have been grown by 34% but still have 1.2 million people are living below poverty line. In addition, she explains that Empowerment, Opportunity and Security would be the possible ways for tackling poverty problem. Moreover, she would respond on the question that is Council of Social Service failing in their job by explaining what they have being done since 1996.
