饒宗頤教授的香港史研究｜Professor Jao Tsung-i and the Study of Hong Kong History 日期｜Date: 17/10/2026 10:30-12:00 地點｜Venue: 香港大學圖書館總館二樓多用途區｜Multi-purpose Area, 2/F, Main Library, The University of Hong Kong 講座簡介： 饒宗頤教授是名聞遐邇的國學泰斗，研究領域既廣且精，成就卓著，香港史只佔其研究的很小部分，甚至只是研究其他課題時旁及香港歷史而已。然而，由於饒公早年曾編修志書，對古代地方文獻了若指掌。他的香港史著述，既援古引今，旁徵博引，亦復關注地下出土文物，是次講座將舉例以說明饒公在此方面的成果和貢獻。 Lecture Abstract: Professor Jao Tsung-i was a renowned master of Chinese studies whose research was both broad in scope and profound in depth, with remarkable achievements. Hong Kong history constituted only a small part of his research. Indeed, he sometimes touched upon it only in the course of studying other subjects. Nevertheless, having compiled local gazetteers in his early years, Professor Jao possessed an intimate knowledge of ancient local literature. His writings on Hong Kong history drew extensively on sources from antiquity to the present and also paid close attention to unearthed artefacts. Through selected examples, this lecture will illustrate Professor Jao’s achievements and contributions in this field. 講者簡介： 丁新豹教授，香港歷史博物館前總館長、著名香港史專家、廣東省政府文史研究館館員、多家大學的名譽教授。 Speaker Biography: Professor TING Sun Pao Joseph is a former Chief Curator of the Hong Kong Museum of History, a renowned specialist in Hong Kong history, a Member of the Culture and History Research Institute of the Guangdong Provincial Government and an Honorary Professor at several universities.
