Beyond is Kingsclere, an expansive building completed in the 1900s on Kennedy Terrace. Intended as a hotel, it was owned by E. R. Belilios, a prominent merchant, who also built the exceptionally beautiful Beaconsfield Arcade on Queen's Road. After his death in London in November 1905, the building was sold and converted into apartments.
