Duke of Connaught statue 干諾公爵像

The statue of the Duke of Connaught erected in Statue Square by Sir Paul Chater in 1902 was moved to the end of Pedder Street at the corner of the Union Building, in 1907. Behind it was the Hong Kong Hotel, generally considered the best hotel until it burned down in 1926.
