Lieutenant general Hisakazu Tanaka 田中久一指揮官

Hisakazu Tanaka (1889-1947) was a general in the Imperial Japanese Army, and head of the Japanese occupation force in Hong Kong from February to August 1945. At war's end he was arrested by the American occupation authorities and turned over to a Kuomintang military tribunal at Nanjing, where he was accused of war crimes in connection with his command responsibility. Found guilty, he was executed by firing squad in 1947.
