Antique shop, Sheung Wan 上環古董店
Those of us who explore Cat Street, the stalls of Thieves Market or the antique shops of Hollywood Road which runs all the way from Ice House Street in Central, pass the Central Police Station down toward the green glazed Man Mo Temple, murky with incense, are always lured to the next shop, the next stall, in the hope of unearthing a dusty treasure, a small porcelain, satin-smooth jade or a ceramic Kuan Yin figurine perhaps, that will find pride of place on our mantelpiece.
