Chi Lin Nunnery, Diamond Hill 鑽石山志蓮淨苑

The Buddhist Chi Lin Nunnery built in the early 1990s is constructed entirely of Canadian teak, authentically abiding by the canonical Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D.) temple construction treatise. Prefabricated in Guangdong and reassembled on site like a three-dimensional jigsaw puzzle it represents perfect feng shui harmony with green hills to its rear and the fresh breezes of the South China Sea to its force.
