Governor Sir David Trench 港督戴麟趾爵士
Sir David Clive Crosbie Trench GCMG C L (1915-1988), was a British Army officer and colonial governor. He was the twenty-fourth Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Hong Kong (1964-1971). Under his watch the administration dealt with repercussions from the 1967 Cultural Revolution that engulfed China and spilled over into civil disturbances in Hong Kong. The Trench Methadone Clinic and the David Trench Rehabilitation Clinic are named after him.
