Antique irons 古董熨斗

Top: Ceramic iron with green glaze, used for silk, dating from the turn of the century, with lidded funnel for hot water. Center: Made of cast iron in the 1880s, this iron is heated by charcoal embers placed inside. Bottom: Flat-iron used by the professional tailor to flatten seams and smooth creased fabrics. The receptacle to receive the charcoal with a socket for the wooden handle is cast out of one piece of bronze, length, 26 cm.
