Governor Sir Matthew Nathan 港督彌敦爵士
Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Matthew Nathan GCMG, PC (1862-1939), was a British soldier and colonial administrator who variously served as the Governor of Sierra Leone, the Gold Coast, Natal Province and Queensland. From 1914 to 1916 he served as UnderSecretary for Ireland. He was the thirteenth Governor of Hong Kong (1904-1907). Nathan Road was named after the Governor.
