Murray Building, Stanley 赤柱美利樓
Murray Building was completed in some haste in 1843 as a magnificent Officer's Mess, to accommodate decimated troops from the mosquito-infested swamplands of Happy Valley. It was dismantled stone by stone in 1983 and re-erected in Ma Hang, the fishing village of Stanley on the south side of Hong Kong Island, where it serves as a delightful and popular home to restaurants, galleries and the Hong Kong Maritime Museum.
