Christopher Francis Patten, Baron Patten of Barnes CH PC (born 12 May 1944) is a British public servant. He is a former chairman of the BBC Trust and serves as Chancellor of the University of Oxford. Here Chris Patten is sworn in as governor by Chief Justice Yang on 9 July 1992.
