Aerial view of financial centre in Central 俯瞰中環金融中心

The most sought after view of Hong Kong has always been that from Victoria Peak. Until 1888 when the funicular railway was inaugurated, the Peak was the exclusive domain of a privileged few entitled to reside in the summit's cooler regions. This harbour view of the late 1970s encompasses the Central District, seat of power of the corporate business community dominated by the big banks.
