60 years, a nation. III, Beyond propaganda

China once saw its own traditional culture as the greatest obstacle to achieving national greatness. Now that the sixty-year-old nation has impressed the world with the absolute principle of development, it wants to back up its superpower aspirations with the soft power of culture. Are Beijing's effort's a genuine tribute to Chinese traditions, or just propaganda packaged in cultural cliches?
