Is forgiveness a moral escape valve that lets the guilty free? : justice and forgiveness in handling hurts

Some scholars have argued that forgiveness acts in opposition to forgiveness. The speaker believes that is not always the case. He describes a stress-and-coping theory of forgiveness. Using descriptions of three studies, the speaker attempts to show that experiencing justice can promote forgiveness.
