Shows the birthplace of Daniel Tsui Chee, 1998 Nobel Laureate in Physics, in Henan, China. Describes how Tsui discovered Fractional Quantum Hall Effect with another scientist. He explains why he never has conflicts with people. His wife recalls how they met and the courage they had in getting married at a time when interracial marriages were considered to be illegal in some States. Tsui's two daughters talks about Tsui's influence on them and his colleagues describe his low-key mannerism. Alumni of Pui Ching Middle School share the joy of Tsui's success. Although he has a congenital heart disease, he continues his research and hopes that it would someday benefit society and improve people's life.
