In the Depth of Seven Seas

“Over a period of twenty one years, I ventured into the depth of different seas of the world.I started my snorkeling in the warm water of Hong Kong and my aqua lung diving in the cold water of the United Kingdom. I thoroughly enjoyed my ventures into the waters of Pratas, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore, Guam, Palau, Hawaii, the Great Barrier Reef, the Red Sea, Seychelles and the Caribbean Sea. I was and still am deeply fascinated by the numerous underwater lives with their vivid colours, especially those in the tropical seas. Using 120mm film camera within my own designed underwater housing, I enthusiastically took photographs of these colourful lives. Forty years after my first diving venture, I now have the rare opportunity to compile and exhibit my underwater photographs. These photographs, I hope, are sufficient to express my admiration and feeling of these underwater lives. It is my earnest wish that these photographs may arouse, no matter how small, our love and effort to conserve these lives. The survival and continuation of these wonderful and colourful lives, without doubt, really depend on us!” Professor Norman W. M. Ko.
